No início deste mês o site Brighthand liberou a sua lista com os celulares mais procurados do mês de dezembro de 2009, e os resultados são realmente muito interessantes, sendo que os os pontos que mais chamaram a minha atenção foi a quantidade de aparelhos com o sistema operacional Windows Mobile, inclusive na primeira colocação; a presença do Nokia N900 e seu sistema operacional Maemo na segunda posição e por fim o grande número de aparelhos com o sistema operacional Android.
Quem diria que o Windows iria despertar tanto interesse dos usuários, e que sistemas como sistemas operacionais livres como o Android e o Maemo estariam ganhando a preferência dos consumidores!

| 2. Nokia N900 (Previously #3) – The Nokia N900 runs a new version of Nokia’s open-source Linux-based operating system, Maemo 5. | 3. Samsung Moment (Previously #2) – The Samsung Moment is a smartphone running Google’s Android OS now available from Sprint. It has a sliding keyboard, 3G, Wi-Fi, and a 5 MPx camera, but its real claim to fame is a beautiful AM-OLED display. Sprint is the exclusive provider, and it supports this carrier’s EV-DO mobile broadband network. | |
| 4. Motorola Droid (Previously #4) - The Motorola Droid is the new flagship Android OS device, running the latest version of Google’s mobile operating system. It is a slider, with a landscape-oriented QWERTY keyboard and a large, high-resolution capacitive touchscreen with haptic feedback. This device comes with a 16 GB memory card, GPS receiver, and 5 MPx camera. Verizon is the exclusive provider. | |

HTC Touch Pro2 (Previously #6) – This high-end Windows phone is a business powerhouse, and sports a wide array of features, including a large WVGA touchscreen, a QWERTY keyboard, GPS, mobile broadband, and Wi-Fi. | 6. RIM BlackBerry Bold 9700 (Previously #7) - This is the second model in this series. It has the same general design as its predecessor, including a QWERTY keyboard, but with a new look. It is smaller than the original, and also has a slightly smaller screen, but at the same HVGA resolution. The 9700 has a faster 624 MHz processor and a higher-resolution 3.2 MPx camera. | 8. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 (New) – The Xperia X10 will be chock full of high-end features, starting with its 4 inch, WVGA+ (480 x 854 pixel) capacitive touchscreen. In addition, it will run the Android OS on a 1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, and have an 8.1-megapixel auto-focus camera with flash. | |
