Hoje foi liberada uma nova versão do software Fennec beta 1.0b5 para aparelhos com sistema operacional Maemo como o Nokia N800, N810 e N900. O novo browser Mozilla agora carrega o nome Firefox, e apesar de ser muito bem feito, ainda está bem mais lento do que o navegador nativo do N810. Apesar do anunciado suporte aos plugins, eu ainda não consegui assistir aos vídeos das séries e filmes do portal do Terra, o que realmente é uma pena.
Vale a pena fazer um teste, principalmente por conta do plugin que permite que você continue navegando nos mesmos sites que estavam abertos no PC, mas acredito que o browser precisa melhorar muito para ser considerado um navegador substituto do nativo do aparelho!

- swipe left to expose back/forward/bookmark and settings buttons; swipe right to dismiss them
- swipe right to expose tabs; swipe left to dismiss them
- stowed away URL bar full page viewing; URL bar reappears when you begin an action
- touch Settings button to adjust preferences; touch button again to go back
A lista de funcionalidades realmente é bem atrativa. Pude teste essa nova versão hoje e está um pouco melhor que a anterior mas ainda deixa muito a desejar em relação a navegação. Vamos esperar mais um pouco para ver como fica =)
